For as long as she can remember, Sophie Langford has been captivated by the effortless elegance of French fashion. Growing up in New Zealand, she poured over magazines featuring Parisian icons, dreaming of one day walking the cobbled streets of Saint-Germain, draped in timeless silhouettes and luxurious fabrics.
That dream became reality when she moved to France in her twenties, immersing herself in the artistry and craftsmanship of French couture. Inspired by the sophistication of Parisian style, she returned to New Zealand with a vision: to create a fashion label that blended the romance of France with the relaxed sensibility of her homeland.
In 2013, Margurete was born—a brand that captures the refinement of French fashion while embracing natural fabrics and effortless wearability. Each piece reflects Sophie’s passion for quality and design, with silhouettes that transition seamlessly from day to night.
